Discussion on 'do not judge'

I would like to add to the good discussion on 'do not judge' just how much
stress & energy it takes from our inner selves when we judge.  We have to
evaluate, more often than not condemn in some way, have some kind of
chart or ladder where people are placed on it where the person puts them.

Is that person not becoming God then?  And indeed, the bible says that
'only God knows the heart', so how can I know?  So presumptuous to
think I know.

All I have is the appearance and even the world know and say that
'appearances can be deceiving'.

Jesus said 'my burden is light'.  When I do not judge, there is no pressure
in this area.  I can relax.

I can quite simply just admit that 'I don't know'.
And not judging can really save us also.  If a conman comes
along, he will look good, act good, seem to 'be good' and
definitely talk good.  If I judge, I will be ready to be set up
to be taken in.  If I don't judge, I can better see what the
person is about.  So, judging is the more quick and instant
thing that is done, while coming to decision whether to
talk to someone is process.

Thanks for sharing your wisdom & beauty of this site

Thank you so much for inviting us to partake of this.
Your reading for Saturday re: Mt. 7 vs. 6 will require
righteous judgment to discern dogs & pigs.  We have
learned that people have distinct ways of behaving.
Sheep can be led, goats cannot, pigs will be very
impulsive, dogs may seem friendly but can turn
on the person.  And I really believe that the Lord
meant us to fellowship in terms of getting others
input...whom we trust...to help us know things.
I do not know all things.  But I know some,
others know some, and the SUM total is greater
and will be greater than its parts.
Thank you again for this excellent site.

How to bring together scriptures to empower our living for Christ?

Hi, My wish is that we could put together scriptures with comments
on how they help us, could help us, have helped us, and
and then tie together other scriptures.
For those who love the bible, love the Lord, I'd
love to have discussions that help us all, and then to
share those good things, and then to look for good
things, and to see sometimes how God turns
curses into blessings.  I wonder how you feel
about that, if it helps?
